HAMRAMMR

[Noche de Rock]

Set in Viking Age Iceland, Hamrammr is a short historical film about grief, revenge, and the consequences of blood feud.
Following the death of his wife, Egil sets out to confront the man responsible. As grief and anger take hold, the boundaries between the living and the dead begin to blur.

Shot entirely in Iceland and spoken in Old Norse, Hamrammr was made independently with a small international cast and crew. The costumes, weapons and props were reconstructed based on archaeological finds from the Viking Age Iceland.
